What Happens at a Listing Appointment?

Listing appointments vary by need and situation.
Here are some of the general things you can expect to happen at your listing appointment:

  1. Introductions & Needs: We discuss your goals, timeline, and reasons for selling. This will help me tailor my approach to your individual situation.

  2. Property Tour: We'll take a tour of your home together, and I'll take notes on its features, condition, and any recent updates or renovations. I'll also pay attention to the surrounding neighborhood and any amenities that might affect its value

  3. CMA: I'll prepare a detailed CMA that compares your home to similar properties that have recently sold in your area. This analysis will take into account factors such as size, location, age, condition, and features. It will give you a good understanding of the current market value of your home.

4. Pricing Discussion: Based on the data and my knowledge of the local market, I'll recommend a pricing strategy that I believe will help you achieve your goals. We'll discuss the pros and cons of different pricing approaches, such as pricing at market value, pricing slightly above market value, or pricing for a quick sale

5. Q&A/Next Steps: I'll answer any questions you have about the pricing process, the selling process in general, or my services as your Realtor. If you decide to move forward, we'll discuss the next steps, such as signing a listing agreement and preparing your home for showings.
